Approach to Tutoring
I create a bespoke learning journey for each student, at which the core is centred on developing good mathematical knowledge that increases their ability to evaluate problems. This learning journey takes into account the student’s ability, and focuses on areas where they struggle most.
By engaging with each student and tailoring their sessions to their needs rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach, I have found that motivation and confidence increase exponentially, and that my students make rapid progress from which great results emerge.

My Experience
A qualified maths teacher (PGCE with Distinction) with over 8000 teaching hours, I help students to increase their mathematical ability and build up their confidence. I am friendly, reliable, and always successful in helping my students to exceed their predicted grades. In addition, I have a PhD in Mathematical Modelling with a first class degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering.
